Experience
I have completed two years of Arabic courses at Drake University. Through these courses, I have learned a great deal about the Arabic language and culture. I look forward to continuing my journey and becoming more fluent in such a beautiful language.
Introductions I Interpersonal Speaking
This was one of my first projects during my Arabic course work. I worked with my partner to have a conversation in which we introduced ourselves to each other. During our conversation, we introduce ourselves by discussing majors and fields of study, family members, and former travel experiences. Reflecting on this first assignment, I realize my poor inflection and pronunciation. Since this first assignment I have completed a great deal of work to better my speaking and conversational skills.
